Israeli Voice Radio was established in 2019 by Hedva Shaltiel – an entrepreneur, lecturer, holistic therapist, producer, broadcast editor, lyric writer, and musician who previously hosted broadcasts at the “Lev HaPisgah” radio station in Jerusalem.
The radio station was created with the vision of preserving Israeli creativity across generations and producing unique projects and collaborations to promote Israeli music among Israelis in Israel and around the world.
The station was founded during the COVID-19 pandemic, which severely impacted the music industry, among other sectors. Since then, it has served as a platform for Israeli music in all its diversity, from the early days of the state to contemporary creations.
What makes Israeli Voice Radio unique is the involvement of its listeners, who take part in curating the music for the various programs. On weekends, the station focuses on broadcasting a diverse selection of Israeli music, connecting generations and showcasing the cultural richness of Israel.
